This page is not intended for liturgical use, but for a literal understanding of the Latin text.

I do not reproduce the standard (ICEL) English translation, due to copyright restrictions); but you can find them easily in most Catholic hymnals, or on their own site.

Credo	in	unum	Deum,	Patrem	omnipotentem,
I believe	in	one	God	Father	almighty

factorem	caeli	et	terrae,

The word credo is said only once in the entire Latin creed, unlike in the standard (ICEL) English translation (which I do not reproduce due to copyright restrictions). It is by one act of faith that we believe in God the Father, in the Son, in the Holy Spirit, and in the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, which is the Spirit’s creation.
