Psalm Antiphons for Lauds: After Pentecost

Morning Prayer, Vetus Ordo

WORK IN PROGRESS

Season: Advent | … | After Pentecost

Holy Days, by month: October | November | December

Days of the week, after Pentecost (maybe): Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday | Other hymns and antiphons

For the texts, see Divinum Officium or iBreviary (at iBreviary, in “More”, select Options = “Vetus Ordo”).

The following lists the usual antiphons for the psalms, hymns, and antiphon for the canticle Benedictus as sung at Lauds (morning prayer). These mostly are the same from one week to the next. When the antiphons and hymns vary due to a feast day, look in Gregobase (select “Scores”, then “Antiphona” or “Hymnus”).

For the Office psalm tones, see ….

The numbers and letters following the number of a psalm indicate the psalm tone and its ending. For example, “Ps. 99, 4E”: Psalm 99 is to be chanted with psalm tone 4 with the “E” ending.
